Full length backbone systems on gas tank and transmission skids and additional support on front skid. Works with or without differential drop. Skids are designed to support the full weight of the vehicle. Add our abrasion plates for the ultimate in protection and use in rocks.

Custom CNC cut and formed to cover all your vulnerable components while keeping high clearance approach angles, all while looking sleek and adding a custom look to the front and bottom of your 4Runner.

• Protects all cross-members and key components vulnerable to damage.
• Service openings and vented slots allow for easy maintenance and efficient airflow to critical components.
• Full length backbone reinforced boxed design allows for a maximum strength while maintaining optimal clearance.
• Sides of the skids are nearly double the height of the competition skid plates for greater bending resistance.
• Fully welded and gusseted seams.
• Front access panel is fully backed and welded to eliminate breaking during impact.
• Designed to support the full weight of the vehicle.

• Direct bolt on, no modifications
• Non-KDSS and KDSS models available
• Product comes in a raw mill grade aluminum. Machining and grinding marks will be visible. Lightly DA sanded for finish application.
• 1/4″ HDPE Plastic Abrasion Plate option is a replaceable protection piece for the skids. Not only does it protect the skids from scratching and gouging, it also slides much easier over rocks or hard terrain..

All Hefty Fabworks Skids are built to order and require a 8-10 week lead time for production. Pick-Up and In-Shop Installation is available. Please call for more details. Pick up during normal operating business hours only, no exceptions!
